While the Pico 4 is not officially supported and we can't guarantee stable performance with this headset at the moment, we are working on improving compatibility.
In the meantime, you can install the PLAY'A app on your PC through Steam, connect your Pico 4 headset to the PC, and use SteamVR to stream content to your headset. This workaround was tested and should allow you to access and play videos on your Pico 4.
Thanks for the answer and the advice but it doesn't work when I already tried, I will make a test again but I don't think it'll work, no PLAYA for PICO, maybe the sunlight is too expensive, sorry intensive for it
We have tested this method on Pico 4, and it worked on our test device. Please try it again and let us know the result. If you are still unable to run it, we will try to help you further.
Hey there, we would love to speed up the process but this is not on our hand, we are waiting for an update from Pico on that, we hope to start working iwth them in early 2024. Thank you for being patient.
Hello! It seems that we are in the middle 2024...some participants in this discussion thread have probably died of old age without knowing if, perhaps one day, the app will be compatible... Towards the end of 2027 maybe ?
Hi, thank you for your question! We will definitely consider that store as we receive many requests about it lately. Once we appear there - we will announce it here on the forum and on the website.
How is the release for Pico going on? A lot of people buy the Pico 4 because it has a good price for its hardware. Please give us an update. Thank you.

The team responsible for the Pico Store has sent an email to Pico developers suggesting that access to the Pico Store (Pico Lab) could be made easier.
Is there a chance for Play'a Pico version now?
Any news yet? (:
Still no progress since June/July? Users anxiously awaiting availability at Pico store. Please advise!
Is there now a release date available ? Maybe for Sideload ?
