I'm using Windows 11 with Reverb G2 v2 and WMR.
Have installed Play'a app via Steam VR and I can launch it. I can also play local files from my PC.
But I can't get the app to connect to the internet and stream from within the app.
I see my router under Devices but when I click on it I just get a spinning wheel then a Network Error - Timeout message.
If I go to Web and try to add a website - one that I know for sure uses API because it advertises using this app - I just get a Cannot Detect Api message.
I think if I could connect the app to the internet it would be able to detect api.
So...How can I get the app to connect to the internet - or more important, why is it not auto-connecting? Its hosted within Steam VR which is connected to the internet so why is the app not? it doesnt make any sense.
Please can you help?
Issue now fixed, thanks. I noticed that the Speed Test in Settings/Network was working, so the app was connected after all.
I think the websites I was trying to add just didnt support Play'a api format.
Hi, thank you so much for your request. Yes, usually you will get this message "CANNOT DETEC API" only if the website is not inegrated with us. But in this case, we will need to double check it,
• To speed up the process could you please tell me what is your Device ID? Your Device ID is placed here: settings > about tab> device ID
• Also, what website are you trying to add?
You can send us the answer here or via email: anastasia@playavr.com
This will help us a lot to identify the issue and fix it ASAP. Thank you so much in advance!
Please wait some time, I will need to check it with our techs and I will come back to you with any Information (maybe we will need more information from you to investigate the issue).
