You can find the "LR Inverse" setting if you click on the "gear" icon on the playback menu and then choose "video adjustments" on the side menu that will open.
We have checked and found no issues with the app itself. However, this problem occurs with specific videos and is related to the video production and codecs used. Unfortunately, this issue affects multiple apps, and we are currently looking for a workaround.
Feel free to contact the websites you are trying to open through the app and inform them about the issue with their videos.
I have received an update. Apperently the issue is related to a third party site. At least I got a notification as of yesterday that a ticket has been forwarded. They also stated that they investigating the issue at the moment and they also made clear they will respond in 2 to 3 workdays.
So changes are that the issue will be pinpointed somewhere next tuesday. I will keep you guys in the loop on this one.
i have experienced the same thing. I have found details about the issue. I used 2 differents methods to confirm. One would be going to the site directly (using VR in chrome), that works. downloaded the video, skybox vr plays it normal, yet play'a does not. I have send the details about it. Waiting for a response on it.
I can confirm that the eyes are swapped and there is also a thing with rotation on these videos.
They responded at first that it was an API thing. But hence i have more details about the issue i provided them with it.
So let's wait and see what happens with it. Since I am confident that this is not an API issue.
There should be an option on a per video basis to swap left and right or top and bottom. Most of the other media players have this function/option.
